Police Launch Community Survey for Warrnambool, Moyne and Corangamite

Victoria Police is providing an opportunity for residents and business owners of the Warrnambool, Moyne and Corangamite community to advise police about any safety concerns or feedback they have.

A survey was today launched at Warrnambool's Civic Green, as police look to gauge from the community what makes them feel safe.

Sergeant Dean Greenwood, says the survey is confidential, and will help police to target their resources as required.

"It's really important, we want to know what the community wants from us as we work for the community, I'm part of the community and I want my local police working for me" he said.

"If we don't know about a situation or about an area people don't feel safe in, it makes it very difficult for us to address the issue, so if we can have a bit of feedback we can direct our resources to it".

Hard copies will also be available at the Warrnambool Police Station, and a number of local venues throughout the CBD.

The short survey which takes just a few minutes to complete, can be found on the Engage Victoria Website, or via the QR code below.
