Katy Perry will soon be making the jump from pop superstar to queen of the big screen in 3D. Her new flick, Katy Perry: Part Of Me, will hit cinemas later this year and will centre on her recent album Teenage Dream.
Perry told MTV News that the film was the closing to the Teenage Dream era, and explained what to expect, stating "It's closing the chapter on Teenage Dream, but it's giving you such an inside perspective [?] This film, you're going to see it from my best friend/buddy perspective, you're going to see exactly what I mean and feel and think about everything." Perry stated that she went through a big professional and personal life-changing journey which she wants to show her fans.
The studio, Perry and Twitter have combined forces to offer her legion of fans multiple opportunities to help shape the film as it is being put together, too. The singer's loyal supporters will reportedly 'serve a crucial role' in helping shape the film, including 'choosing songs and wardrobe.' Just as an incentive, Perry if offering some lucky fans the chance to walk the red carpet with her, by giving away special Golden Tickets in random copies of Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.
"Katy Perry: Part Of Me is a really fun and engaging movie that celebrates every aspect of Katy?s life including her relationship with fans,? President of Insurge Pictures, Amy Powell told Perez Hilton. ?What better way to kick start the filmmaking process than by inviting her millions of fans on Twitter into her world.?

S Club 7 are back! Get ready for a 90's flashback, as the original members Hannah Spearritt, Paul Cattermole, Jo O'Meara, Rachel Stevens, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee and Bradley McIntosh, prepare for a 2012 summer tour and a possible Greatest Hits album.
The pop group hit international stardom in the mid 90's with their smash hit single's Bring It All Back, Don't Stop Movin' and S Club Party before parting ways in 2003. Reportedly signing a seven-figure deal, the group are said to work on a possible Greatest Hits album and two brand new albums, if the tour goes well.
Sources say "following a series of talk and meetings, they decided to go for it. The band figured it was a case of now or never (in reference to the looming Olympic Games)." In recent years, several members of the group look a little worse for wear, including Cattermole, who is looking double the size of his former self. According to the source, "everyone is really excited and frantically getting back in shape."
In the meantime, to get your S Club fix, Jo, Paul and Bradley will be performing at the Palace Theatre in Melbourne on May 23rd with R&B 90's group Big Brovaz. For more information click here.
